Parents as Teachers (PAT)
The Parents as Teachers program is an evidence-based home visiting model designed to help parents foster their child’s development from pregnancy through kindergarten. With personal home visits, developmental screenings, and access to resources, we help parents become confident and informed educators for their children.
Key Focus Areas:
✓ Personal Visits: Certified parent educators provide one-on-one support and activities that promote child development.
✓ Developmental Screenings: Regular assessments to ensure children are reaching key developmental milestones.
✓ Group Connections: Parents connect with other families to learn and grow together.
✓ Resource Network: We provide access to services that help families achieve their goals.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, we provide free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five. Each child enrolled in the program receives a new book every month, fostering a love of reading and promoting early literacy.
